Spotlight Class - Teen Performance and Vocal

Teen vocal training at Sacramento Performing Arts

The Spotlight class is our teen group. This group has lots of fun. We work on individual vocal and performance skills as well as how to work as a performance group to entertain as a cast. This group also works to improve dance skills and stage presence.

CLASS FEATURES
· Small class size with one on one and group attention
· Vocal technique through warm ups and exercises
· Your body as your instrument and how it works for singing
· Basic musicianship and performance skills
· Learn to hear melodies and sing harmonies in an ensemble setting
· Beginning dance and choreography

CLASS DISCRIPTION

Special focus on individual vocal style and performance skills. Singers work both individually and as a group preparing for 2 vocal concerts each year. Classes include vocal training, performance and dance skills.

Students are welcome to inquire about the classes at anytime during the year.  Enrollement is open year round for both the childrens and teens classes.  Enrollment is closed however, during Vocal Showcase Productions between October-December and April-June.  Each new vocal class session begins all over again in January and July of each year.  Private lessons are scheduled through out the year based upon scheduling availability.
