Kim Cyrus - Voice Training Instructor
Kim Cyrus has been performing for audiences for the past 20 years. Her voice has touched the lives of hundreds of students since 1995 when she began teaching privately. Prior to her career as a vocal instructor, Kim was busy cultivating the lives of young children in a small kindergarten classroom in the Northwest, where she taught for 12 years. Kim began studying musical theater in high school and continued until she left the theater to become a wife and mother, which she still considers her #1 job! Kim spent her theater career playing various musical and acting roles in college and community theater since 1980. She currently works for River City Theater Company as the vocal director for a cast of 200 children ranging in ages from 7 to 18. Today, Kim works hard to create vocal and performance opportunities for her students through performance classes which teach the students to overcome fear and anxiety while helping them to understand how their voice works, how to gain pitch accuracy, muscle and breath control and all through balance of technique and song assignments that will challenge the singer to use the vocal techniques they are learning in the lessons..
