Meet the Instructor…Kim Cyrus
Kim Cyrus has been performing for audiences for the past 20 years. Her voice has touched the lives of hundreds of students since 1995 when she began teaching privately. Prior to her career as a vocal instructor, Kim was busy cultivating the lives of young children in a small kindergarten classroom in the Northwest, where she taught for 12 years. Kim began studying musical theater in high school and continued until she left the theater to become a wife and mother, which she still considers her #1 job! Kim spent her theater career playing various musical and acting roles in college and Community Theater since 1980. She currently works for River City Theater Company as the vocal director for a cast of 200 children ranging in ages from 7 to 18.

Today, Kim works hard to create vocal and performance opportunities for her students through performance classes which teach the students to overcome fear and anxiety while helping them to understand how their voice works, how to gain pitch accuracy, muscle and breath control.
Kim is very pleased to be opening the studio to River City Thetare Company, Galena Street East Productions and Cisneros Studio of Dance for an all in one Performing Arts experience for you!
The Sacramento Performing Arts Co. has been created with a vision to offer the young people of our community a positive experience in the arts. When you become a part of this vision, you will see why students flock from all over the metro area to be involved in live productions, to gain vocal fitness, to enhance your theatrical abilities or to learn a new dance step or two.
Kim Cyrus will help you to discover your full potential as a performer and singer. Through vocal control, breathing and blending abilities for your voice, as well as being offered opportunities to participate in live stage performance. If theater is your interest, you can participate in a live musical theater production with River City Theatre Company who meets right in the same space. If dancing is your suit, we offer a wide variety of dance instruction through the Cisneros studio of dance located right in our facility.
